Allegro Dance Welcomes You!

As we begin to slowly change our focus from Summer to Fall, registration for the 2021-2022 dance season is ramping up! Allegro Dance will be starting its sixth year in business this Fall and we are excited to watch our returning students continue to grow and develop as lovely dancers! We are also looking forward to meeting SO MANY new families join our studio! If you haven’t registered yet, we welcome you to take the leap and join our dance family! Below is a little bit about what we offer!

Whether your child is a beginner student, looking to add dance into their weekly schedule as a new hobby, or has dance experience and is looking to take their training to the next level, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment for all dancers.

We offer beginning classes in all age groups so your child can start dance at any age!

For those looking to make dance a bigger part of their lives, we offer a pre-professional division of Ballet classes. This is an invite only program where dancers are selected to join our classes with other experienced ballet dancers. These dancers learn classical variations and compete at YAGP. We also perform full length Ballets! Dancers in our pre-professional ballet program take classes in Ballet, Progressing Ballet Technique, Stretch/Conditioning and Pointe. For placement into our program, please email info@allegrodancemi.com!

If your dancer is looking for more performance and competition opportunities, we have three different levels of our performance company, ADPC. ADPC performs around the community, attends conventions and competes each season! If you are interested in setting up an audition to join ADPC, please email info@allegrodancemi.com.

The staff at Allegro Dance works with each dancer individually to help develop a plan to put them on a road to success-whatever their goals may be! We are here to help you in any way that we can!

COVID-19 PROCEDURES

As we continue to dance through the COVID-19 Pandemic, our number one priority is to continue to keep our dance families and staff safe. Since restarting in person classes on June 23, 2020, we have run in person classes safely. There has been no evidence of spread at our studios and we are very proud of this! We cannot thank our families enough for being cautious and communicating with us as needed! Please see our current procedures below and do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns! We feel that during these challenging times, giving children a safe outlet to cope with emotions they may not be able to communicate is so important! Dance provides that, as well as a place to safely socialize with kids their own age!

  • Temperature checks at the door

  • Sanitizing upon entrance and exit

  • Masks must be worn by anyone in the building over the age of 4. (This could change depending on recommendations from the CDC and current executive orders)

  • Social distancing is enforced

  • Class sizes are limited

  • The lobby is closed to all parents of children over the age of 5

  • New HVAC system installed June 2020

  • Door knobs, light switches, cubbies and benches cleaned every hour

  • Ballet barres are cleaned after every use

  • Thorough cleaning of the studio is done daily

  • All families are asked to follow guidance from the local health department should they experience an exposure. Please notify us of any exposures so we can act appropriately.

  • Please do not come to class if your dancer has a fever or is experiencing any symptoms that could be related to COVID.

  • Please Zoom into class if your child was exposed to COVID or is running a temperature

  • Each family always has the option to utilize Zoom instead of attending in studio should your comfort level change

We look forward to working with your child safely!
